What is MYDIVESHOP.org?: My Dive Shop is a community and an information resource for divers and dive operators.

My Dive Shop has no connection to any dive equipment manufacturer or certification agency. MY DIVE SHOP strives to provide objective, unbiased information about topics relating to scuba diving.

MY DIVE SHOP was born in the summer of 2008 and is a growing community. We will always be adding content and features to the web site to make your visits worthwhile, enjoyable and educational. There are other diving oriented sites out there. We hope to be a little different. Get in on the ground floor as part of MYDIVESHOP.org.

Content: Everything you will find here is family friendly and related to scuba diving. We don't subscribe to content providers. Everything is produced by MY DIVE SHOP. We don't permit submissions that are not appropriate for all ages.

MY DIVE SHOP is looking for articles and information. If you would like to publish an article please submit it. We can't guarantee your submission will be accepted and we can't offer any payment at this point.

Dive Operators, this is an opportunity to gain visibility and name recognition. You have an incredible wealth of expertise and knowledge but will no one will know it if they don't know you exist. Make sure your shop is listed in our Dive Shop Directory. If it is already listed in the directory but you didn't put it there that means we found you first. If you need to change your listing let us know and we'll get you set up to do it yourself or we can do it for you. A basic listing doesn't cost a thing so don't feel like we're trying to squeeze you for a nickel. If you would like to put up some advertising or make your listing a preferred one there is a charge but we try to keep it reasonable.

Divers, you have just as much, if not more to say than the dive operators and we welcome your submissions and comments to the listings and articles you find here.

Email Policy: Our mailing list is a very private matter. We don't sell email addresses and we don't release email addresses to anyone unless you tell us to. We will not send emails very often but we will try to keep you informed. To get on our email list you must sign up and you must confirm you subscription. You can remove your name from the list at any time.

Business Policy: MY DIVE SHOP is funded by advertising Preferred listing sales, sale of some special MYDIVESHOP.org merchandise and by you clicking on the ads you find appearing on our web pages. Please keep MY DIVE SHOP free and in operation by using the shopping links that appear on the site.
